OUR STORY STARTED…

with a university class business project for a flour mill on the farm. After she finished her degree in 2017, Christine decided to come back to the family farm in East Central Saskatchewan near the small town of Togo. It was then that Christine and her dad, Konrad, began to seriously consider a value-added option for their grains.

Both the farm and our family has expanded and gone through some changes in the last few years. We now run a 4,000 acre grain farm and have a flour mill facility onsite where we process our wheat flour, and our growing family has welcomed a few in-laws and beautiful grandchildren along the way.

What started as a father-daughter project has evolved into more of a family run operation with Christine’s husband, Allen, and Konrad taking the lead on this value-added venture.

Bordertown Milling Company is as simple as it gets — a complete on-farm process that creates an opportunity for consumers to be directly connected to the origin of their product and it’s production, from field to bag.

From start to finish, it’s a family affair!
